In reply to W. Higgins. My father was born in this house in 1915 when my grandfather was living there as Frederick Mercer's coachman. I've always wondered what "Glendoveer" meant on my father's Ontario birth registration. Now I know. Pretty amazing!

In 1915 Glendoveer was owned by Frederick H. B. Mercer who also
owned the Toronto Milling Company at Barberton (Streetsville, Ontario)
