The glaring gap is the weakness of information/intelligence exchange among GOC departments. Bad actors operate across jurisdictional boundaries and are often present in some small measure in the domains of FINTRAC, CSIS, RCMP, CYBER Safety et al. Public Safety Canada needs to find better ways of ensuring info/int are shared at the tactical levels where operators can integrate the morsels into a comprehensive view of the threats and feed this int back up to the decision-makers. (Since our key Allies already work this way, why does GOC still have internal barriers to such exchanges?)

Now Canada is dependent on inflated real estate gains to power the economy. Real estate now accounts for 14% of GDP. A lot of capital ends up going to non-product investment (ie. vs. technology investment in US etc). Instead a lot of money in Canada goes to debt servicing. Without conspicuous consumption Canada’s growth will lag.

There definitely is incompetence – i.e. the RCMP special fraud squad – and indifference – but the sum total seems to indicate something else entirely. These facts are not new. The triumvirate of Eagleson, Drabinsky and Black are illustrative of the difference between Canada and the USA. The first two ran to the Canadian authorities and cut favourable deals AFTER charges were laid in the USA. The arrogant Mr. Black challenged the USA “justice” system and lost big. Nothing has changed and there appears to be no impetus to do so, whether it be securities regulation, municipal corruption, influence pedaling gambling, drugs, prostitution, you name it.

Or they’re actively pursuing the Black Axe and don’t want to alert their members? Well too bad, the BBC have their own agendas. End of the day – the queen is dead and we’re now living in Charle’s world. Think about that for a long moment. All the current events all timed to the queens death. Record government debts, war, inflation, food riots, constant bombing. Another great global human event is coming to a boil. And as always, the UK leads the way.

In reply to Truth. Don't know what evidence you think FINTRAC 'hid' but FINTRAC has uncovered many instances of money laundering efforts related to illicit cannabis sellers. All sorts of businesses have been fronts for their money-laundering efforts: food & bev, beauty/wellness, electronics, automotive, marketing, consulting, construction, ets.
