I like to know how high interest rates are going to fix the government over spending, Canadains are going to pay the price because of bad government.

We need rate hikes along with higher taxes on vacant properties. Perhaps 5% per year or more. Less write offs for investors including not being able to write off mortgage interest . Go after money launderers that are bringing in up to 130 billion per year with much of that going to real estate and have the government enact the promised 2 year ban on non resident buyers which they recently voted down.
As stated : hard to trust any government bodies to do the right thing or do what they promise.

In reply to questions guy. Same here. Banks can predict whatever they want but what matters is whether the BoC will do the right thing and hike rates.

First they will hike rates, after a while when recession hit they will quick QE again.
