Exactly. Most of the labour shortage is in the low wage sector. As inflation persists and recession hits I wouldn’t be surprised to see white collar unemployment rise significantly. Too bad this is not tracked as a separate statistic. Middle class is about to be wiped out.

That’s not how the unemployment rate works. The job vacancies are primarily in the industries where people lost their jobs/unable to work, since they moved onto to new jobs.

Currently, I don’t believe they have enough law enforcement personnel, subpoena power and legal staff to enforce parking violations. We must be cognitive that lawyers, notaries, accountants, immigration and Banks are complicit (aka aiding and abetting) in this activity. Willful Blindness is not an acceptable defence strategy. So who is representing the legitimate taxpayers?
