I’m not an economist but just an average Joe that doesn’t need a degree to understand Trudeau’s immigration policy has had 425,000 new arrivals last year and wants to increase that to 500,000 next year. Is he going to house people in repossessed single family dwellings? We shouldn’t stop immigration, simply put on the brakes until he can figure out inflation. Reduce taxes on diesel fuel which is driving up the cost of produce through farming, manufacturing of building materials and logistics in delivery. Carbon taxes are putting people out on the street for the sake of image and praise. We’re not ready for his esoteric dreams

Yes you get the sense that Liberal Fall budget declaration with regard to housing will be some new spending initiative instead of just allowing the bubble to pop by policing the banks properly.
