This cycle will never end unless Canada offers non-market housing options, and the government commits to decommodify a portion of the housing market. Not everyone wants to be sucked into to the inefficient real estate roller-coaster. Let the gamblers bet on luxury dollhouses in the suburbs, and encourage investors with other financial interests, to invest their money into more productive assets.
