59 Elm Grove Avenue #5 is one of the few places in Parkdale listing for less than a million, and strangely enough it’s a nice and modern place. Not sure if the listing with Bill Joyce is priced intentionally to spur a bidding war or if town homes aren’t cool enough for this side of town, but it would definitely make my shortlist of places to see in the neighborhood.
The Details
All of the townhouses were built in 2011, so it’s new-ish but you’ll definitely get to see how well the finishes are wearing. The gourmet kitchen has stone counters and stainless steel appliances, there’s two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a cedar deck, and my favorite – ultra-modern, tempered glass stair rails. Enough of the blabbing on on to the listing photos. Don’t forget to tell us in the comments what you think.
This place is nice, but Parkdale aka crackdale is still too sketchy.
Are you kidding? Hipsters in Parkdale is why this is a premium. A townhouse in Liberty village would go for half the price.
$100k townhouse plus hipsters equals a million dollars? Glad I live in Waterloo.
